Jeremy Newman & Allison Ciancibelli

Jeremy Newman & Allison Ciancibelli talking glass at WaterWorks Gallery, Friday Harbor, WA drew a small but appreciative audience. Jeremy and Allison spoke passionately of their glass as sculpture rather than glass. They intentionally remove the reflective qualities of the medium, creating a luminescent painterly rock like surface.  Beautiful. View the works posted at www.waterworksgallery.com

This couple was recently awarded the Smithsonian Craft Show Excellence in Glass Award.

Created WaterWorks Gallery, in 1985 to showcase contemporary Northwest Art on an Island in the Salish Sea. Pretty amazing place and space that is beautiful and the art evokes this experience.
